NEB Class 12 Exam 2078

The National Examination Board (NEB) has sought permission from the government to conduct the NEB Class 12 exam 2078 from the last week of Shrawan. Stating that the examination will be conducted physically, the board has stated that permission has been sought for the examination.

Chairman of the Board, Professor Chandramani Poudel informed that as soon as the government permits to conduct the examination, they will move towards the examination process.

Chairman Poudel clarified that the examination could not be conducted online as millions of students will be participating in the examination. Even if it’s a little delay, the board has made a plan to conduct the examination physically.

Joint Secretary and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Deepak Sharma said that the decision would be taken only after discussing the proposal of the board. He informed that the CCMC will also decide on the permission to conduct the examination as the Ministry of Education has not decided to postpone the examination. Earlier, the CCMC had decided to stop the Class 12 examination scheduled for Jestha 26.

Possibility of Home Center for NEB Class 12 Exam 2078

The possibility of the national examination of class 12 students to be held from the home centre has increased. Although coronavirus infections have been reduced, government officials say the condition is not favourable to take the examination at another school.

Sharma, joint secretary at the Ministry of Education, said that they had assessed that there might be a problem in conducting the examination in another school, adding that a decision would be taken later. It will be decided when the examination will be conducted and also about the home centre.

The decision for the duration of the examination i.e. will be of 3 hours or not, will be made at the same time. The board had taken an examination of 40 marks for an hour and a half for a student studying in class 12 last year.
